Third (after Anu and Enlil) the great god was Enki (Babylonian Ea) - the mister of underground waters, the god of wisdom, the keeper of sacral tablet. His symbol was winged goat-fish (a goat's head on a fish's body) On the island Tilmun irrigated also with help Enki, goddess Ninhursag grow eight wonderful plants - the daughters. Enki eats these plants then illness amazes eight bodies of his body. Ninhursag damns Enki and leaves island, the World starts to destroy. Returned on island with the help of the fox, Ninhursag creates eight goddesses again, each of which symbolizes a part of body Enki (an edge, a jaw, a tooth …) and cures the patient.
